His Light Sees You

This image is described as Jesus seeing me and the light of His presence reaching down even in a dark place seemingly unseen by the world around. 
 
In my worst years with the illness M.E. unable to walk, talk or speak I felt insignificant, unseen and useless.  In that time when I silently cried out to God in distress and desperation for relief from physical pain God' drew near and His presence was closest tenderly comforting & loving giving me strength to sustain me.   God saw me.  He saw past the weariness of suffering, the ugly emotions that difficulties stir up and the shame from feeling useless. 
A familiar testimony of God that runs back to Genesis 16 with Hagar, an Egyptian servant and Mother to Abram’ first son, who exclaimed to the Lord when He saw her crying distressed and alone in the desert,
‘You are the God who sees me'.
